North Rim of the Grand Canyon

I recently took a 3 day camping trip with my son Scott to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Heading west from Page on route 89 there are many photo opportunities available before we started climbing out of the desert floor. The Vermillion Cliffs is a good place to start taking photos and this Panorama was one of my 1st.

There are so many wonderful views that it can really take your breath away.

Moonrise with the sunset lighting up the walls of the canyon.

Fall Colors on the walls of the Canyon.

Photographers love to take  photos of dead trees and I guess I’m no exception.

Bison on the road into the Canyon from Lake Jacob.

Some deer on the back roads around the canyon.
